Making Progress

A lot has been happening at our house the past couple of weeks. The day after I did the Kitchen Inspiration blog post the guy that we hired to do some of the work in the kitchen came over to get a game plan on when we would be starting the project. We weren't planning on starting the renovation for a few weeks...but he had a change of plans with another project and was ready to start our kitchen that week! So we said ok and Nathan started the demo the next day :) I immediately became overwhelmed! So many decisions...so little time!! But it is coming along nicely so I thought I would share the progess!

Here goes DEMO!

Putting the kitchem back together??

This is my dad and Nathan working on the electrical. We ran into some problems with this part but luckily they were able to figure it out so we didn't have to call an electrician! My mom and dad have helped us so much! I don't know what we would do without them! Thanks mom & dad!

At this point I was glad that the kitchen was bigger...but I was so nervous about it all coming together and looking good!!

Here is where we are today...
*Note these pictures were taken at night and are not the best*

We still have several things left to do...but I LOVE it! I can finally see it coming together just the way I had imagined it! Our countertops are supossed to be in at the end of this week! But we are still waiting on the oven hood and we also have to put up a few shelves. But overall we have made a lot of progess and I am so ready to see the finished product :)

On a different note...our Master Bedroom is almost complete!!! I am unbelievably excited about the way it has turned out! It is even more beautiful than I imagined! I want to show a sneek peak of one of my favorite parts of the room...

This dresser was the dresser that was in my nursery when I was a baby so it is a very sentimental peice of furniture. I bought the mirror at a local store and they painted my dresser to match! I am so excited about the way it turned out! I will hopefully do a full master bedroom reveal soon :)

Happy Home!
